I reached out to a former colleague I worked with who I admire and enjoy working with. They told me a bit about the JIVE workplace and how great it would be to be working on the same team again, I agreed! I proceeded to meet with the HR Recruiter, very pleasant, then my direct boss and one of the field reps and a peer. Conversations were informative but you can't cover it all. However, the one item that would be helpful, prior to coming on board at JIVE, especially if one hasn't used JIVE platform is to inform the candidate a brief overview of what the "Onboarding" process entails. A little blind to it but after a day or two it was fine but it would be good to just communicate a few sentences like : If you haven't used a JIVE intranet before - it's normal if you may feel overwhelmed at first - it takes a week for most the basics and there is a check list for you.
