Application - OT - First round (no feedback); might have a following final ac, the group seemed randomly assigned to interviewees, which would be quite challenging to prepare in advance

Interview process was very straightforward and the campus recruiting team was very efficient and fast in terms of responses to proceed to next steps.
1st round was breakout room with a random associate (not necessarily the team recruiting)- mix of behaviour and technical. Totally depends on interviewer. 2nd round was assessment center with case studies (no behavioural or direct technical questions but know the technicals enough to apply to case study).
Now they don’t advertise it but they have a secret third round. Apparently, they don’t hire according to the team’s needs. They conduct this whole stupid process only to make a talent pool that will be sent to the hiring teams after AC. So basically resume screen happens at the very end of the process?! It should ideally happen at the beginning just to save time and effort. Well sucks to be in this job market I guess. To be honest this whole thing seems like a waste of time- both for candidate and the people actually conducting the interview. They won’t give you a final interview even if you pass the AC if the hiring teams don’t like your resume or skills don’t match.

Invited to a first round interview by HR manager. Assumed it was simply an HR screening, then out into a breakout room with associate from a team I didn’t apply to. Very hard interview, especially for an internship.
