Phone interview and then assessment center (2 two-on-one interviews, one case study and one group case study). Typical assessment center that lasts the whole morning. All the interviewers were polite and did not try to sabotage my interview

Walk me through a DCF, which valuation is bigger and why? (DCF vs. Trading comps)
The interview process consisted of a phone screen, a first round interview, and finally a superday. This was all conducted via zoom and the process was relatively quick. It was roughly two weeks from start to finish.

The Jefferies interview process was unexpectedly slow and drawn-out. While the content remained standard for investment banking—focusing on typical technical and behavioural questions—the overall length was disappointing. I found the timeline unnecessarily long compared to other firms, which impacted my overall candidate experience.

Interviewed with SVP, 2 VPs, Associate, and analyst over 1 week and received offer within 3 weeks. Technical questions were industry specific and behavioral ones focused on capacity to work long hours and desire to work at Jefferies in the specific group.
