When I arrived at the building I was greeted by doormen , showed my id and proceeded to go up to the office floor. Then a former JET ALT greeted me warmly and told me not to worry she was also very helpful in answering any of the questions I had about the program or what to expect on the coming interview. She said there would be 3 people and that I knew I was doing well if they asked me to do a practice lesson on the white board. I went in and sure enough there were 3 interviewers. One was very strict while the other were very kind. There were several questions relating to my personal ways of dealing with stress up to how I would handle cultural exchange etc. Then they asked me to perform a brief sample lesson on the white board that I had to improvise. All in all it was not as bad as I expected, though it was intense.
