The manager for the department, sat me down and asked me questions pertaining to the job. Very easy and very quick. Hired immediately.
After the hiring process the associates are required to take a course and complete a test with a passing score of 90% on credit services (a.k.a. JCPenney's Card).

The interview was very straight forward no thrills or tricks. I interviewed onsite with and HR manager who was very helpful.

My interview was a one on one interview that took up to 15 mins. a few past job questions and then more info about the company and the position I applied for.

I saw they were doing drop-in interviews, so I went home and printed out a resume. They looked over my resume then asked a few questions. Then I was basically hired on the spot.
