When I first arrived at JC Penney, it was me and seven other interviewees. The management was running late as they just got done interviewing other candidates. We finally get in after 5pm in this tiny conference room in the office. I had two managers interviewing all of us, a store manager and the assistant store manager. We introduced ourselves about our background and character. Then, the managers asked us two questions for the seasonal job and that was it. It was to work one day on black friday, if things turned out good, we would get more hours the next week. They told us to wait to see if any of us got the job. I got called first only to be told I wasn't getting the job. They also ask you about your availability and yes they are flexible too. I thought the interview was silly yet they were both nice. Managers didn't even asked to see a resume or cover letter.
