      Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Iterative Health (Cambridge, MA) en sep 2022

      Entrevista

      Interviewed by 8 people over 7+ hours and a few weeks. I indicated clearly several times before the interviews I would only move for VP level position. Each exec I spoke with indicated it was a great idea to hire at the top first, then build the team around the senior individual. One told me "you check all the boxes, I'm good with your interview. Nothing more to discuss." In the end, it took 3 weeks to interview and less than 1 business day to be rejected on the basis that they "don't need the higher level skills I have at this time." This could all have been communicated from day 1. The interview process should have been terminated as soon as I mentioned I'm not interested in the lower level job as it was posted. Process was waste of everyone's time, and left me with a very negative view of this organization. Senior managers are supposed to set goals, set the tone, fill the senior roles, and then allow these folks to build the company from the top down. You can't do it in reverse, as a lack of vision and bad habits will be tough to unwind as the company grows. Too bad, the tech looks exciting, and I would have liked to be a part of it.
