Initial discussion with an external recruiter who thought I was ideal for the role. Spent 90 minutes in total discussing the role and my fit - was then invited for an in person interview with the hiring manager. It was quite an open interview that allowed me to provide insight into my experience, however the interviewer seemed quite uninterested and didn't ask me any personal questions whatsoever, they were just interested in information about my work history and my skills. The recruiter was told that my personality wasn't a good fit for the company, which stifles diversity. Seems that I was seen as a challenger for what must be a pretty uninspired team, or there was some other element of discrimination.
