Entrevista
Intuit has an interesting process where they like to set appointments to bring people onsite and then cancel those appointments after that candidate has already begun to put time into a presentation.
I suppose it's standard practice for most companies: phone up a bunch of outside candidates, and jerk them around until the guy you really want (the internal one) accepts the offer.
I at least credit them with cancelling early enough so I didn't have to waste an entire week on the craft demo. (I had a good recruiter). But really, why go through the motions of giving me all that material and then not even let me shoot my shot. Annoying.

Entrevista
HR recruiter contacted me stating the hiring manager wanted to talk to me about the position. The hiring manager and I spoke. The manager described the the landscape that he is facing and what his vision for the short and long term. He then described what his expectations for the position. I then described my experience and further asked to get clarity on specific deliverables. We both agreed that there was a fit. The HR recruiter setup the interview logistics and I went in and went through 5 interviews in a single day.
