First interview was over the phone then the second was done in person. The recruiter asked about my previous experience then she set me up with a meeting with the hiring manager. The second interview was much more detailed and I got to walk through the lab.
Self introducing myself as an artist is so much more than a job interview I have done for a while and it’s been so rewarding and fulfilling for so long I feel so much more comfortable in the world than ever and it’s just a lot more rewarding than the other people have done in my career so thank goodness

Applied online, got an email for an in-person interview, answered basic lab safety questions, basic chemistry, and basic result reporting, then took a tour around the lab. Hiring process took about 5 weeks, give or take because of the holidays.
