Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 3 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Interlace Health en may 2014

      Entrevista

A recruiter found this position for me and applied through them as it seemed like they had a great relationship with the company. I was not originally going to apply for the position as I was planning on moving to California this year. I informed the recruiter of this and he contacted the company and called me back and said this position is a remote position and could be worked anywhere in the country. It sounded good so I had him submit my application/resume through. There were 3 interviews in total. The initial interview was a phone interview with the hiring manager for the position. Questions were straight forward and to the point. Gathered more information regarding the position and what my role would be. Learned about how much travel may be involved and how compensation would work. The second interview was face to face with the hiring manager. We went through my resume and they asked what my technical skills are and how well I am at documentation. Everything was pretty standard and no question was super technical or stumped me. I reiterated in the interview that I was planning to move to California sometime this year and wanted to make sure this was not going to be an issue. The hiring manager said no this is work out as the company has people located across the country. I have a third interview in about a week with the COO of the company. Again, no truly technical questions were asked however they wanted to know what my strongest IT skill was. I was able to answer and provided my experience from my last position in the healthcare field. The interview went well and I brought up about me making a move to California and if that would be a problem. The COO mentioned that it was not a problem but did complicate things just a little. The interview seemed to have went well. I got a call back a few days later from my recruiter and Formfast wanted to hire me. They wanted to hire me as a Full Time employee instead of a contractor. The only issue was the salary I asked for was a little high. I compromised on the salary and started to negotiated with them. One week went by and nothing. Two weeks and nothing. Three weeks and got a call back from my recruiter and he mentioned that I was still the number one candidate from the position. However, they just hired a HR representative for their company so things are going to take a little longer than usual. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited some more. Another two weeks went by with no information. Finally my recruiter called me back and mentioned that FormFast has been growing and expanding rapidly. Now they were trying to decide if they needed a Solutions Consultant or another Manager for the team. He mentioned if they needed a Solutions Consultant then the position would be mine. For here things did not start to add up. Why would they interview me and offer me a position when they haven't even made up their minds? A month went by and nothing. I did a google search on the job description just to see if anything would pop up as they told me they were no longer interviewing people. Well...that was a lie. The same job opening did pop up but this time through some HR firm. I'm guessing it was the same company their HR representative worked for. I called my recruiter and he contacted the company. They said they reopened the position and started to look for people that also had managerial experience even though nothing in the job description mentions that. I was very frustrated and annoyed that they dragged me along and didn't bother telling me that the position was not mine. At this point I did not even want the position. If this is how they treat people, then I do not want anything to do with them. It also makes you think how they treat their employees. Lastly, I believe they were just making excuses instead of telling me, "Sorry, you did not get the position". My guess is when the HR Representative came on board they looked and saw my application was through a recruiting firm and probably did not want to pay for the recruiter's fee. They must have decided to look for candidates themselves. This was my awful experience with them. Also, the most recent review for the company that says "Great Place to work!" does not appear to be an honest review. Just my thoughts.
