Had three different interviews for a remote (work-at-home) position with three different people and communicated via email with a fourth. After I applied, communication and interviews were frequent. I was offered the job, I was told I’d receive specific benefits information, but I never received it. I kept getting “it’s a busy time, we’ll get back with you soon” types of messages until communication stopped. I was never told what happened and why the job offer to me was rescinded (though nobody ever actually told me that the job offer was being rescinded... everyone just went away). Although everyone was pleasant when I spoke with them, needless to say the end result left a lot to be desired. Emails were often confusing, poorly worded, and vague. Please note that for the “Interview Outcome” category below, I marked “Yes, and I accepted,” but that isn’t quite right. I was offered the position, expressed much interest and enthusiasm, but I said I’d like all the standard benefits specifics before I gave a final yes. I received some general info, but nothing indicating costs, specifics of coverage... standard stuff companies have on hand to send to prospective employees.
