Please try to avoid this company and interview/join only if you are desperate. The HR here maybe do not get paid enough. My experience below is with regards to a screening call with HR where you cannot get rejected but I did. In within two minutes of the scheduled call time, the HR emailed me claiming that they called me and could not reach me and asked me to call on their number. So within 2 minutes the HR had called me so many times to be convinced they cannot reach me. How believable is that you decide ? After an initial uncomfortable exchange of formalities wherein the HR kept on continuously pushing me why am I looking for a job now, do I even have a job, why am I looking to move and is everything fine with my current company and job, we got to the stage wherein I was asked why Instacart which I answered. Then I asked the HR about the projects at Instacart and the different positions available. The HR had no idea about this and gave some random jargon based (i.e. ML, DL, data mining blah blah blah) based answers. I could not believe she did not know about either positions or projects. She mentioned she did not want to misspeak and she will talk to her fellow recruiters and get back to me i.e. either she will get back or other recruiters will get back. But I have not heard back since so I am assuming I got rejected. I wonder if she even detailed how the interview panned out in whatever report she has to file in her company with regards to feedback (if there is even such a procedure). Best of luck.
