The recruiter I spoke to was nice, but IG's hiring model is sketchy. The starting pay is astronomically below market value for the existing experience they want, and you start in a "training position" before you become an official AM and make even close to a livable wage.
It is unjustifiable in 2025 to require more than entry-level experience for on-site role (4 days in-office, 1 day WFH) with a salary of less than $50k, especially when hiring in major cities like LA, CHI, and NYC. "Uncapped commissions" means very little in this economy, and this model is extremely predatory and tacky.

Small talk is the most importantly part of the interview process. They hire soley for personality and drive so if you show you can be natural with conversation that sets you apart.

The interview process was like any other interview process with a recruiter. I ended up backing out, but it seems like they want people who are excited about the company and the role.
