The process was quite comfortable, but still fast-paced! I first had a ~30 minute skype interview with their HR person, where I was asked mostly general questions about my past experiences, why I want to work at Inkitt, etc. I also got a pretty full picture of the company and how the team works, which was very helpful. As the next step, I had another interview (approx. 1 hour long) with Marvin Wey, head of growth, whose team I would be working with if I made it through the hiring process. Both interviews were very professional, but not impersonal feeling. I was very impressed! After this, I was invited to do two test-working days with the team, for both parties to gauge if we would be a good fit for one another. I also got to chat over coffee with CEO of the company, Ali, on my first test day. This was very helpful for me to understand more about what my options might be in the future, and what to expect from Inkitt if I were to be hired. I came in and got to see first-hand how hard working and passionate the team was, and happily, we all decided it was a good fit! I had my official first day within a week of the first interview.

I had a recruiter call that last 15 minutes and was told to complete a case study. I completed the study, a bespoke marketing strategy. It took hours. I received a boiler plate rejection email after submitting it. No feedback and no response to my request. I feel like I was robbed of my expertise, almost feels illegal.
