Started with a brief introductory call with the HR head, mostly just to talk through the job and the company mission. She was incredibly responsive by both phone and email, and helped move the entire process along smoothly. After our first chat, I had another phone interview with a senior editor that delved more into my background and relevant work experience, and why I was interested in working as an AE for Industry Dive. Questions were thoughtful and fair, and the whole thing took 20-30 minutes. A week later did a series of in-person interviews at the office with HR, two senior editors, two of the founders and the EIC. The whole thing took about two and a half hours. All of the ID folks brought detailed, incisive questions and were incredibly accommodating throughout.
