One need to apply in respond to the press advertisement. After sreening, one will be convoked to appear in the written part of the exam. The written exam consists of two papers. Technical and non-technical papers, each 100 objective type question. Total duration is 120 minutes. On securing above the cut-off mark (normally 70%-75% of marks), will be called for GD/GT and interview. The merit panel will be prepared based upon performance on both written and oral part of the exam. The success rate is only 0.25% (1 in 400).
