First I had an HR interview over the phone, after that I did cognitive ability testing and some sort of psychological test. When I passed that, another HR conversation followed, this time via zoom. The talks were pleasant and I got a panel assignment to do. I took the presentation seriously, dedicated myself to it, researched and learned about the technology they deal with, so of course I could do it as well as possible. I put emphasis on quotes, recommendations and conclusions as well as on the visual aspect of the task. I received praise from HR before the presentation for a well-done task, and she concluded that I had put in a lot of effort. At the actual presentation in front of the international team, the examiners were extremely uninterested in the presentation, did not follow the presentation, were visibly absent and gave the impression that they were bored. From the questions that followed later, I concluded that they didn't even listen to what I was saying because they asked me something that I had already presented during the presentation. I did not receive the offer with the explanation that I did not prepare well for the presentation. The general impression is that I lost a lot of time to dedicate myself to that selection process, which in my opinion was not a good measure of knowledge for the requested position.
