Had been the Senior Network Engineer for a number of years and the Director of Network Operations position opened and I was the logical canadite for the position so after sitting down and discussing how my day to day activities would change and the new responsibilities I would be taking on we agreed on a new salary and I started as the New Director of Network Operations.

Can you continue to do you normal activities while mentoring junior engineers and designing Network Architecture Documents. As well as expanding my role to multiple sites and new sites and bring them into the fold without delay or any issues.
