I had a great time chatting with the team at Igloo but the rest of the candidate experience was the abysmal. Unfortunately the recruitment team / HR was incredibly unprofessional and a big red flag - either too disorganized or careless to be a great place to work. They did not respond to my emails for follow up and did not update me on progress for over a month. I forwarded a self-directed design project to demonstrate a design concept but did not get any response of receipt. After multiple email attempts asking about the status of the position I finally received a response and was told I would have an answer by a certain date. The date came and I did not get a response. I discovered that the position has been filled, but did not get a notice of this from HR yet. Companies need to be held accountable for this kind of unprofessionalism as it is incredibly disruptive to a candidates life, both from a mental and professional standpoint.
