Disorganized and long. It seemed like IXL was going through a period of organizational change - and eliminated the role they were ultimately hiring for. The first three interviews all happened pretty quickly (about a week apart), one of which was a last-minute reschedule, and then radio silence for over six weeks before letting me know the position was no longer going to exist. All told it was an over two month process. The position and company seemed interesting, and most of the employees I spoke with were engaging, but probably would not have been stable given the recent acquisitions and organizational upheavals.
