It’s somewhat rigorous very in depth with various people interviewing you. Try to understand your actual interest in the market and fintech specifically. They enjoy being challenged and honesty! Honesty about what you do and don’t know is a big proponent of it all.

My interview process with ION Group consisted of several stages and was both rigorous and engaging. It included three interview rounds, where I met different members of the team and discussed my background, motivation, problem-solving approach, and fit for the Leadership Development Program.
In addition, there was a case study, designed to assess how I analyse business situations, structure my thinking, and communicate recommendations clearly under time pressure.
The process also included a group exercise, where candidates worked together on a task. This stage focused on collaboration, communication, leadership potential, and the ability to contribute effectively in a team setting.
Overall, the process was designed to evaluate both technical and interpersonal skills, reflecting the rotational and high-impact nature of the programme.
1st round chat with the team member to understand more about your background and more behavioral questions. Nothing technical. Just a 30 minute chat. Virtually conducted and a pretty normal back and forth conversation
The first stage is an OA consisting of 20 multiple choice on random stuff - math, big O, dfs, reading comprehension, and even sql then there are 2 coding questions - The first is an easy medium that can be solved using a greedy technique and the second is one to count the number of subsequences that contain another - can be solved using DP
The second round interview starts with a puzzle. All these puzzles are on GFG, the one I got was asking an hourglass puzzle that involved using a 7-minute and an 11-minute hourglass to measure 15 minutes. Then, I was given an OOD interview where I was asked how I would implement a library system where users can borrow books
