One of the most difficult interviews I have done. First was a phone call, then came a 40-hour assignment and another phone call. After that, they sent me to Sweden for 4 days. While fighting an 8+ hour jetlag, I arrived in middle-of-nowhere IKEA town on later Sunday afternoon. Only was told by the hiring manager at 4 pm Sunday evening that they want me to do ANOTHER assignment that night and present on Monday morning or afternoon. Mind that they NEVER told me anything about this process until that moment. I panicked and dashed out in complete darkness to find tools/pen/paper/markers or whatever I needed to complete the assignment. Presented the assignment + portfolio on Monday afternoon(again, they never told me anything that I should be expecting during the interview). Came back to the US and was told a week or two later that they felt like my experience was not senior enough. No mention or feedback to the two assignments I did at all.
