There is a written test for the initial screening. Written test consisted of general questions related to your field of study. A list is displayed shortly after with the short-listed candidates. These candidates are called for personal interview. In, PI, professors ask about past research experience, publications, and research proposal.

5:1 ratio of interviewer v/s interviewee.
Written exam, with questions from previous year Gate.
All general questions asked during interview.
15-30 mins duration.
Core Technical knowledge will be verified. Just need to convey them that you can take care of everything.
