Depends on previous lab or dissertation experience. Prepare the dissertation topic well and the related lab topics to which you are applying. Prepare the basics of the tools and techniques very well which you have applied in your previous lab.

Online Interview via Zoom. It contains technical selection Committee. It will take a week to two or three weeks based on the urgency.
Shortlisting is completely based on the resume and the work experience and base on the advertised position in which you have applied.
