Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en ICE Profession (Westlake, OH) en nov 2015

      Entrevista

I came in for the first interview which was short and sweet. I was asked some basic questions about myself and then I was asked to come in for a second interview/day of shadowing. I found it strange I was asked to come in for the entire day (11 am-7 pm) but I thought maybe shadowing for an entire day would be a good experience to see if the job is a good fit. It was an INCREDIBLY NEGATIVE experience. At no point was I told that "shadowing" meant tagging along someone doing door to door sales for 8 hours straight (minus the 1 hour we went to lunch, which was the only "interview" part of the day). I was told to dress professionally for an interview, I had on a suit and heels! No one mentioned to dress comfortably for the weather and to be walking on your feet for 8 hours. Not only was I freezing cold, but I had on heels which blistered my feet. I was in pain all day long. Next thing you know, it starts hailing. For Heaven's sake. The whole thing felt like a sick joke. A nightmare. I wasted my entire day knocking on doors in 40 degree weather...but I stuck it out and continued to be respectful to the employee I was shadowing, seeing as it wasn't her fault at all. The next day I got a call offering me the job. I respectfully declined and said I didn't think the job was for me. Then I politely voiced my concerns about everything that happened. The employee wasn't acknowledging ANYTHING I was saying! He was totally dancing around it, trying to get off the phone with me. I was disgusted with the overall lack of empathy. The whole situation from start to finish was misleading, rude, manipulative, and downright unprofessional. I never received any sort of apology or explanation. Ironic, because they say the two qualities they look for in candidates are integrity and professionalism.....the last two things that were exemplified from this organization.
