The company usually has 4 rounds of interviews beginning with the HR round, then the Senior User Researcher, Cofounder and a final round with the CEO. These steps are followed by many companies to understand their prospective candidates and as the candidates progress, the usual understanding is that their candidacy is been accepted and approved on the respective levels. It was only after 2 months of the process of applying for the position and appearing for multiple interviews and assignment, is when the management realised that my experience was not sufficient for the position.
