The interview process was shorter and more straightforward than expected. A recruiter reached out and told me about the position and I gave him permission to send my resume. The interview was conducted by two department heads which mainly consisted of them describing the position and trying to drive home the point that it is very demanding. I asked many questions at the end to try and get a better feel. Lasted about an hour and wasn't sure whether or not they liked me. Fast forward three weeks, the recruiter reached out and asked me for some personal information and got an offer two days later with a starting salary higher than what I had asked for. Had to pass a background check and a drug test which only took about a week. Very simple background check process which I appreciated as I've been subject to grueling background checks that have taken 6-8 weeks.
