      Entrevista

      I applied online and between the delay in response and the time they were able to meet with me, had an initial recruiter screen 18 days later. Typical intro call questions, nothing unusual to report. I was next scheduled to meet with the hiring manager. The call was pretty informal and it was easy to establish a rapport with her. It seemed like I probably had more product experience than she did, based on her LinkedIn profile. Next I was scheduled to meet with someone who had a title that I've never seen at a software company before, and someone from engineering. Both of these calls were only 30 minutes and the bulk of them was spent with the respective interviewers talking about themselves. I was only asked one or two questions in each call and had maybe 5 minutes each time to ask questions of my own. A week after the 4th interview, I received a slightly customized, but mostly generic, rejection. Yet another company where I walked away with the impression that they weren't entirely sure what they were looking for, and were socializing any potential blame for making a bad hire by running candidates through endless rounds of interviews and exercises.
