      Entrevista para HR Generalist

Me postulé en línea. Acudí a una entrevista en Humani HR (Tampa, FL) en mar 2026

      Entrevista

The first screen was a behavioral interview, but the experience felt more like the recruiter was interviewing me just to check a box or hit a quota rather than genuinely evaluating fit. Right from the start, it was clear she had not reviewed my resume or basic details beforehand, including where I lived. That immediately made the conversation feel awkward, uncomfortable, and impersonal. Instead of feeling welcomed as a candidate, I felt unprepared for and unwanted in the process. A little preparation and professionalism would have gone a long way in creating a better candidate experience.

      Entrevista

It was a great, quick, and efficient process. The entire process lasted about 2.5 weeks. It was what you can expect - standard questions, case assignment, process length, etc. To address the reviewers who are stating that case assignments got stolen - that is the farthest from the truth. There are entire teams available to produce deliverables. No one is stealing answers.

      Entrevista

I interviewed at Humani HR and the process took about 4 weeks. The interviews and case study challenged my HR knowledge, however, the number of years of experience they claim on the posting was definitely not the level of interviews. I do have more experience than the posting so I wasn’t concerned, but I did find it misleading and a bit odd. I also found the interviews disorganized. In the first interview, I was told there was no client interaction in the role, even the interviewer, who was senior to the position, mentioned that they don’t interact directly with clients. But in my final interview, I was asked situational questions about handling clients directly. While I had no issue to answering those given my experience, it left me confused due to the conflicting information from the interviewers. The structure of the final interview also felt was also disorganized. The interviewer seemed to be following a script then would occasionally flip to questions unrelated. It was a bit awkward of a flow trying to anticipate what was the question at times. I was also told in my final interview and in an email that someone will follow-up with me in the coming week as they were finalizing the last stages, but after my follow-up nearly 2 weeks later, I heard nothing. I did finally receive a follow-up over a week later, and was given a very generic decline email with no feedback. Overall, I liked how the process showed me see my own strengths. It also showed me how a company didn’t value the candidate experience, which in turn is not a reflection of the candidate but the process/company itself.
