Recruiter and hiring manager are a joke. I reached out to the recruiter. At the end of the call she said that I might not be what the hiring manager is looking for since he is seeking candidates from the Big 3-Mckinsey, BCG, Bain. My background is management consulting, but not at the Big 3. I wish she had told me this before scheduling a call, as I would not have bothered. I have no interest in wasting my time recruiting for a role in which the hiring manager is so narrow-minded. The recruiter was also extremely nebulous about salary, so I have no idea whether they even pay competitively. The recruiter also had a snooty tone, when asking me where I had applied to business school. It turns out she went to Devry. No further comment is needed...
