Poor communication post interview, weeks went by with no word back. Ultimately a month passed before a decision was made. A statement was made early on that indicated a job offer, but was eventually revoked and given to another applicant. I have a good friend with connections at the headquarters in Plano, who was hesitant of me applying from the start. 30 employees have been let go since January, mostly higher ups and the President of the organization is under investigation. I’m relieved to know, at least at this time of change & uncertainty in the organization, I dodged a bullet. The lack of communication from hiring managers, the long time frame to hear back, the statement made that more or less guaranteed the job that was then taken back weeks later & my knowledge of what is happening at the headquarters & how unhappy many employees are would lead me to not recommend applying at this organization, at least at this time. I will say the recruiter called and apologized for make the statement that led me to believe the job would offered to me, and I appreciated her reaching out and apologizing.
