The interview process that I experienced was a little confusing. I was recruited and I went in for a tour and to learn more about the company. I met with who would become my interviewer and we got on quite well. I then had a phone interview with a week later or so. He criticized the questions I asked as relevant. To my knowledge if it has gone past that, the interview process is extensive.

I was contracted after applying online. A friend had referred me and I was confident my experience would be relevant for the position. They rang me a few days after I had applied for a brief screening interview which seemed fine even do the girl came across a little abrupt. I was asked would I be available for a phone interview 2 days later over the phone and I said that was fine. I had to take an hour off work to accommodate so when the call for the interview was late it put me under pressure.
The interviewer seemed annoyed to be even ringing me and she was very abrupt with my responses. Kept saying ya, ya ok to all my answers and there was no friendly feeling which made the whole thing feel uncomfortable. I would have preferred a face to face interview as I feel it gives more respect to a candidate however after chatting on the phone for a minute I started to think maybe it was a good thing. It went on for 40 minutes and was fairly straight forward questions but I felt I was not even considered for the role after the initial few minutes on the phone.
Got a brief feedback call a week later telling me I didn't have the necessary experience and not enough detail in my responces.
