Why Hubspot, why are you leaving your current role and some diving on previous projects and experience. The code challenge was just reordering some JSON, I'm sure similar has been posted here. You can use whatever libraries, frameworks and languages you like. The onsite was system design, live coding, databases and finally a general career discussion with the director of engineering. Each of the technical rounds had 10-20 minutes at the end to go through some culture fit questions. One thing at each round. If you talk about something at a high level expect to be probed on it. Don't skim of a piece of technical detail because you're not familiar. They will ask. On the other hand ask the interviewers questions too. They will be very helpful. System design question was one not listed here but something you would come across doing tutorials on preparing for these kinds of questions. Know the basics for micro-services architecture, middle ware components and distributed systems and you'll be fine. Live Code challenge was an easy - mid level leet code challenge and different runtime and space complexities. Again one I had not seen listed here. The only thing here is it's live coding. You're machine will be hooked up to a TV in the room and the interview will be watching. Databases focused on relation database design which I was very out of kilter with. Focus on the database piece of system design and you'll be on track for this one and be familiar with wider concepts - indexing, paging, joins etc.. The final one was a chat with director of engineering which focused on culture fit, past experience and where you see your career progressing. Overall great experience. I unfortunately had to turn down the position due to personal circumstances but even at this point everybody on the Hubspot end was very understanding.
