Worst recruitment experience I ever had!!! After several interviews, I was made an offer via email and on the phone saying that it was firm and binding that I accepted. I was promised to receive a contract in the following weeks. Started then a lengthy background check. Once the validation process ended, I was asked my desired starting date. 3 days later the offer was cancelled by them arguing headcount and budget issues. It was terrible to discover this especially that it seemed that the different HR department were not all on the same page and were not coordinated. This experience clearly is damaging Huawei's employer branding as it is a company that can change its mind from one day to another.
