Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Houzz (Los Angeles, CA) en ago 2023
Entrevista
2 interviews. One with HR and one with sales manager. It was a Very straight forward process about your reasoning to be in sales and goals. For the most part, the interviews were casual and knocked out the typical interview questions about background and how it fits at Houzz

What are your goals in sales? How have you worked to achieve them in your past?
phone screen and then role play. was pretty straight forward and the manager made me feel comfortable. Overall sales is just not for me but the process was definitley average to get through

I was contacted by the recruiter via email, and had a initial 15 minute phone interview. The next step was a second interview with the hiring manager. The interview was very short, they seemed to be looking for early talent ( younger) there was a big focus on social media aspect.

How do you manage your CRM, and what is your sales background?
You're expected to call 80+ clients a day while only making $18 per hour. I asked about upwards mobility and was told there's no room for promotions in this role. I have four years of sales experience so I definitely wasted my time with this one. Interviewer said average SDR makes $50,000 per year, which is insane for a sales job in any industry. Spoke about a typical day, which includes many pointless meetings and drink the kool-aid non-sense. Could not provide data on turnover rates. Didn't move forward but absolutely dodged a bullet.
