I was handed a crying child and given 20 minutes to calm the child. Child responded well to peek-a-boo and Crocodile Rock by Elton John. I was able to calm the child in ~10 minutes give or take. Final round was more difficult. I was given a crying adult with only 5 minutes to bring to a more neutral emotional state. Complements and simple attempts at flattery proved most effective for this exercise.
