      I went through a multi-stage interview process for a Director-level role that spanned approximately three months and included several conversations with leadership as well as a detailed case study presentation. The team I met throughout the process was thoughtful, engaged, and clearly passionate about the work they are doing in value-based care. Given my background and the scope of the role, the opportunity felt like a strong alignment, with only minor areas that would have required a learning curve. I appreciated the chance to walk through a robust case study and discuss real operational challenges with the team. About a month after my final presentation, I was informed that I would not be moving forward. After building a strong rapport with the recruiter over the course of the process, I followed up to better understand the decision and how I could improve for future opportunities, but did not receive a response. Overall, I had a positive impression of the team and the organization, but the candidate experience could be improved by providing more timely communication and constructive feedback, particularly for candidates who invest significant time in later-stage interviews. Advice to management: For roles that require multiple rounds and case study presentations, providing clearer timelines and feedback would greatly enhance the candidate experience.
