Initial call with CTO. This was a general chat around my experience and he game an overview of the company and their teach stack. It seemed pretty good. The second stage was a technical test. The guidance was to spend 2 to 4 hours on it but it really needed 6 to 8 hours if the job was going to be done well. I returned the task and unfortunately was not successful and was told they had filled the position. The feedback I got was “the task not bad but not great”. Given the amount of time they ask candidates to spend, I would expect more meaningful feedback. This was disappointing but otherwise the two people I interacted with seemed nice enough.
