The interview process was more of a standard technical interview. Been through 3 rounds HR, Tech, and managerial. The surprising thing is after cracking all of them and being offered a position with an offer letter and a start date given which was signed by me, they came back saying they don't have the budget currently and had to put the role on hold.
This was a crazy experience as I had terminated my existing lease and put in papers for the employer to move to Hobsons and in the end, they come up with an apology as simple as "Unfortunately, the position was just eliminated for reasons that are strictly financial. There is no other reason. It has nothing to do with your personal or professional credentials. We will not be filling the position at all."
Never have I ever had such a strange experience in my life. I had to redo so many things after they came back with this news. Probably I wouldn't interview again with them.
