I saw the posting on RatRaceRebellion and I applied online through the Hilton website. Application process was fairly easy. 2 days after my application I was invited to do a video interview through HireView. This is my second time doing a video interview so I was already pretty comfortable with it. They do allow you to have some practice with some practice questions and recording your answers and reviewing them before you do the actual interview. For the interview there are no do overs. There was about six pretty standard questions for someone in a sales role. Everything else was agreeing to the terms and conditions, noting your availability for training, and giving you more information about the position. A few days after submitting my video interview, I was contacted by their virtual recruiter and asked a few more questions about the job role and how well they will fit for myself. After answering those questions and submitting a form, I was contacted to schedule a phone interview with the recruiter. Upon having the phone interview with the recruiter, it was less an interview and more an informational phone call about the job, benefits, training, when orientation starts, etc. At that point I was asked if I had any questions at all and then the job offer was made. Which I graciously accepted. I’m excited for this opportunity. My orientation date is a month out due to the holidays. So all in all from the time I applied, to the time I start working the whole process will be about 2 months. But again, it’s the time of year where a lot of companies aren’t hiring on until after the holidays are over. So take that into consideration when you apply. For me it works great, everything went smoothly and I couldn’t be happier.
