Internal Recruiter that vetted me on the phone. In-person interview with three people (1 Sr Manager, 2 Managers). Then, one phone interview with Director. All involved praised me, and the director even gushed about my qualifications! Fast-forward 5 weeks later (Yes, this is an entry level position on the team, not a director position or even manager!), and I am still getting cold-shouldered and unanswered calls from recruiter. After leaving an obviously hostile voice message, she finally called me back (with attitude) and stated that they were interviewing another candidate that day! Well, you can guess who got the job! How were they supposed to even remember the two of us that they just loved 5 weeks before. The process and lack of communication was infuriating and incredibly rude. Obviously, my experience is not representative of the company as a whole, but I will not be applying with Hilton Worldwide again.
