The worst interview/ interaction with a person I have ever experienced. The entire interview was him unprepared, asking random questions that popped into his head while he was driving. - Interview appointment time comes and goes. After 5 minutes I decide to call since their was confusion the day before about the interview time. - He answers but says that he is on an important call and if he doesn't call back in a certain time frame to call him back. - I was not going to call him back and as I was writing my text to the hr guy to withdraw (again), the owner calls back. - He is driving throughout the entire interaction. - Multiple times he switches over to other phone calls throughout the interview. - He did not discuss the role or anything related to the position. I mention my degree, years of experience and relevant courses taken. But he wants to ask nonrelevant questions like where did I go to high school, what was my SAT score, how long have I been working, and etc. - He ends the interview before I can after returning from another phone call. Best part of the entire encounter. If Jeffrey Seltzer is any representation of his companies, Highpoint Capital Group, Highpoint Capital Property Management or Blue Attics, I truly feel sorry for anyone who has to work or interact with him. Being busy or "overwhelmed" is not an excuse for being unprepared, disorganized or exhibiting the disrespectful egotistical behaviors that he did throughout the interview. It is no wonder their turnover is so high on LinkedIn. But at least one positive is I now have a terrible interview story to share.
