      Entrevista

      The interview process started out very quick and informative. I made it through 4 rounds of interviews, including a written assessment that was to be turned over during a weekend, as well as an in person visit in Chantilly, VA at their South Riding location. This visit was the last step of the interview process which occurred on July 2,2024. I was finally contacted on July 19,2024, after two follow up emails and a LinkedIn message to inquire about my application status. There was no offer made due to this role being centered around “outside sales over marketing and you’re used to sending emails.” During the in person there was no conversation surrounding emails- I discussed going to surrounding businesses and collaborating. I digress. Please be aware that the Marketing roles within this company are heavily influenced by outside sales aka you’ll be going door to door selling their product that should sell itself? Also, Why was I tasked to complete social media posts, event proposals, and email templates if that isn’t what they’re looking for or what the role calls for?

      Social Media Post Creation: Task: Design a social media post aimed at attracting new families for enrollment. Requirements: Must be visually appealing and align with the Montessori ethos. Include engaging and informative content. Demonstrate understanding of the target audience (families with young children). Evaluation Criteria: Creativity, alignment with Montessori principles, effectiveness in communication, and visual design skills. Email Template Design: Task: Develop an email template for communicating with parents about an upcoming school event. Requirements: Clear and concise language. Inclusion of key details (date, time, purpose of the event/announcement). Reflective of the Montessori approach and values. Evaluation Criteria: Clarity of communication, ability to include essential information, and alignment with the Montessori philosophy. Event Proposal Scenario: Task: Create a proposal for a school event that fosters community engagement and encourages enrollment. Requirements: Detailed plan including theme, activities, targeted audience, and logistics. Explanation of how the event supports Montessori principles and puts our programs at the heart of the activities offered. Consideration of budget and resources. Evaluation Criteria: Innovation, practicality, understanding of Montessori values, and organizational skills.
