      Me postulé a través de una agencia de empleos. El proceso tomó 3 días. Acudí a una entrevista en HiBob (Londres, Inglaterra) en mar 2019

      Entrevista

      The interview was not very well organized. I found it difficult to find the office as the receptionist was not available and when I used the intercom to call up, there was no answer. Luckily I managed to find someone who worked at the company in the lobby who helped me find the floor and the person I was there to see. Once upstairs, I was ushered into a small meeting room, without any of the routine pleasantries you would expect from a first meeting like a drink, an office tour or even general small talk. The interview started off a bit disinterested. I felt I had to lead the charge but really an interview should be both parties asking questions to each other. Instead I had to really pull to make conversation which ended up feeling more chaotic than it should. From the start I did not get the impression that they had even read my CV as they had no questions or points which they wanted to address. Throughout the experience they did not make the role, expectations, company culture or desired skills clear in any way. Leaving the interview I felt I was more prepared than the team who met with me and I although the company/product seemed cool, I was not interested in coming for another interview unless it was with someone who might better handle the interview process. There was no expectation that I would be offered the role based on this interview. They did not ask any questions about my previous experience so it was very difficult to come up with reasons why I felt I was relevant to the role. And without knowing the challenges they face or candidate they were after it was impossible to offer overlapping evidence between my experience and the role available.
