- Interview with head of product: I felt this went really well, but a few days later I got the response that they were looking for someone with more years of experience than myself. Why did I get the interview in the first place then?
- I challenged this and wrote a solid cover letter, after which they changed their minds and I had an in-depth interview with head of product + another PM. This time I was rejected because they actually weren't sure how they wanted to structure their product department. Pity!
