- Got call from consultancy for the same. - 1st round was screening round on hangout, where the interviewer was not on time. He asked me general questions about my current work. He was behaving like a cool person by using words like 'dude', 'man', etc. This was around 30 mins round. - After the 1st round, no update for almost for 1.5 weeks, then got a call from consultancy that they want to proceed for further rounds. - 2nd round was technical coding round, taken by a developer, with questions on array, linked list. - 3rd round: Again interviewer was late. This was taken by the person who had taken my 1st round. He asked for my introduction, so I reminded him that we already had discussion before 1.5 weeks. He said he did not remember. He informed me that this will be Design round, so I interrupted him and asked him that will it be related to SDET ? Hearing this he was amazed and asked me this interview is for SDET dude.. ? He was not knowing that the interview was for SDET position. (That's great.. so this indicates he did not see my resume neither he saw invite of HR for this interview :) ) - He asked me coding questions for linked list and string and no design or framework related questions. - 4th round: This was taken by QA/SDET. He asked me testing related questions, debugging scenarios, test cases, etc. He also asked coding question based on Array. - Next day I got an email that they are not moving ahead with my candidature. - Overall it was weird experience as the interviewer was not knowing about my profile, so its obvious that he was not well prepared for taking interview and it was just a waste of time. Also, It will be mystery for me, if 2nd round interviewer knew that this interview was for SDET or not!
