it was pleasant. the on-line application was fairly easy to fill out and submit. a resume could be attached to this at any time during the application submittal window, which lasted about 30 days. there were several people i already knew who were working at the county in the same department to which i applied. the interview was pleasant, with a panel of 4 gentlemen one afternoon, lasting about 1 hour, with 30 minutes of questions into my qualifications and another 30 minutes of discussion of the job requirements and details on benefits and incidentals. the interview was well planned and carried out with good professionalism. my perceptions of the organization were very good ones from the beginning and have not been changed since being hired.
