Interview process with hiring manager was good - friendly and approachable. Questions asked were standard. Setting up of the interview was smooth. However, had to wait so long for updates on the hiring process. Whenever I emailed to ask for updates, I did not even know who was speaking to me as there seemed to be any of 3 different people tending to my email whenever replying me, so it got confusing because I didn't know who I was supposed to be speaking to directly regarding any updates. Had to chase 3 different times to get any sort of updates on the hiring process, kept saying will talk to hiring manager, then on the day itself where I was promised updates, I had to email again asking if they would be calling or emailing today. Kept calling from foreign number as well so I never knew whether it was an unknown scam call or from the recruiter. Recruiter talking to me through email would be from India, but the caller would be from Thailand. Reason for rejecting was also unclear, didn't know what exactly the recruiter was trying to tell me and she seemed unprepared for delivery of the news. When I mentioned in the email about a competing offer, she rudely (while laughing) just said "Oh you have a competing offer anyway right so yes you can take that", which was uncalled for. Overall, good interview process with the hiring manager at Henkel, but bad one with the recruitment agency.
