I applied online twice and called the office to talk with the manager who was in charge of hiring for my current city. After two applications I have heard nothing back from them, at least not through regular and professional channels.

The only reason I applied to this company was because they got the contract in my city and I wanted to stay put. I applied via their website and heard nothing from them at all. I called their office to talk about staying in my position in April. The manager I talked to sounded like I had just woken him up in the middle of the night. He didn't take down my name or contact details (as I would discover later.) I applied a second time via the website and have still had no response. They attempted to contact me through another ALT in my city to tell me they forgot my name and contact details and couldn't find my application. They already seem like a bunch of clowns. Having read horror story upon horror story about this company I have opted to abandon the JHS I love to avoid working for Heart.

Pretty simple, asked general questions like why i want to work in Japan. had me do a small 3 minutes demo on how i would teach emotions and drill the vocabulary. Also had to read through a paragraph and I did a spelling check as well.

It was okay. The HR just asked few questions to know more about you, and made you prepare a demonstration prior to the scheduled date of interview. After the interview, they made me send my documents right away through email so they could process everything beforehand.
